About Adriano Batista, CFP®

Adriano Batista, CFP®, is a Financial Advisor with True North Advisory Group who has been helping individuals and families in the Maple Grove area plan for retirement since 2008. He developed a curiosity and fascination for economics while studying at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, where he earned his B.A. in Economics. What captivated him most was how one analytical framework could explain so many different decisions, and that curiosity led him into a career that lets him do the things he loves most: analyze problems, think through solutions, and work closely with people.
Adriano works with each client to build a plan, a real one tailored to their life. The process starts with an honest look at where the client stands today and a clear picture of where they want to go. From there, he creates a retirement strategy designed to reach their goals in a tax-efficient way, with built-in protections and estate planning strategies to help ensure everything they have worked for is preserved and passed on the way they intend.
Adriano is not here to replace a client's CPA, accountant, or estate planning attorney. He is here to work with them. The best outcomes happen when the whole financial team is on the same page, and he makes it a priority to collaborate with the professionals his clients already trust.
On a personal note, Adriano is a lifelong Minnesotan, born and raised in Minnesota and proud to call Maple Grove home. He lives there with his wife Lindsey, a nurse at M Health Fairview, and their two kids: a daughter who graduated from Lake Forest College in Lake Forest, Illinois with a Business degree in Marketing and is launching her career in the field, and a son who is just beginning his elementary school years. Adriano is an Eagle Scout and spent 23 years as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 187 in Maplewood, and is also a licensed private pilot with hopes of getting back in the cockpit one of these days. Both experiences have shaped how he approaches his work: with a long-term perspective, a steady hand, and a genuine commitment to the people he serves.
